The 2025 calendar year is up & running and 2024 is getting further into the rearview mirror. Over the past 12 months we've delivered a diverse range of events which have been both informative and enjoyable. Facilitating business development through networking activities is our key focus. If you get the chance, please quickly scan through our photo galleries of our past events in 2024 listed on the Chamber's website - you'll be surprised by the breadth of topics and industry sectors covered.
We’ve had over 2,300 guests joining us in person across 34 events, including roundtables and co-hosted gatherings. We closed out the 2024 year with 200+ people in Australia House for our anniversary Young Professionals Reception event themed 'Ngurra' – an Aboriginal word meaning 'home', 'a place of belonging', 'a place of inclusion' – an important message to send to our wider Australia-UK community. We also embraced the digital landscape, welcoming 500 guests to our 5 online webinars. This diverse approach allowed us to cater to a wide range of preferences and needs within our community. The activities for 2025 are in motion, and no surprise, it will be another busy year with 30+ events on the planning agenda. The Chamber team – Nicole Kostova, Vera Carvalho-Pacey and myself - really look forward to working with you and most importantly, seeing you. We have a membership group that is going from strength to strength – our genuine thanks for your support in 2024 and now onto 2025. Stay tuned for details on our Meet the Members night – always one of our most popular events in the year. We encourage you to be an 'active' member – join us and encourage others to be involved.
