With the Australian election officially set for May 3, Australia House is about to become the biggest polling booth outside of Australia for the two weeks leading up to the big day! For us at the Chamber, it’s business as usual - no changes to our events at Australia House, so no disruptions to our activities. In fact, we’ve got an exciting event lined up on April 28 with EY at their offices: 'The Trump Effect - Potential Impact on Global Economies'. There’s no denying that the geo-political landscape is making headlines daily, and the ripple effects are being felt across industries and individuals alike. Now, more than ever, the Chamber’s role in supporting, informing, and connecting our members is critical—and we’re fully committed to doing just that. As we wrap up the 2024/25 financial year today, we’re proud to reflect on a strong year— 35+ diverse, high-quality events and fantastic engagement from our members. But we can’t do it without you! Your continued support, whether it's attending events, referring new members, or sponsoring/partnering on events, helps us keep delivering. 27th March|Young Professionals Reception - Women In Sport
Last week, the Chamber hosted an inspiring Women in Sport evening at Australia House in partnership with NAB Corporate & Institutional Banking, Qantas, and Multiplex.
The event featured a special address by Elisabeth Bowes PSM, Australian Deputy High Commissioner to the UK, followed by a dynamic panel discussion moderated by award-winning journalist Jacquelin Magnay.
Our incredible speakers, Charli Grant, Matildas and Tottenham Hotspur Women and Caitlin Wood, professional racing driver, shared powerful stories of resilience and representation in elite sport.
The evening concluded with vibrant networking, bringing together 170 young professionals from over 100 companies. |
