Post-summer break for many of us here in the UK and what better time than to launch the Australia-UK Chamber’s new website.
We’ve freshened the look and feel and re-designed the layout to ensure that the topics and items that are most important to you are easily located and accessible. Marr Contracting has been awarded the contract to deliver heavy-lifting crane services for Hinkley Point C’s Unit 2 Turbine Hall.
Following their success on the Tunnelling and Marine Project, Marr’s innovative crane solution—using a single M2480D heavy lift crane—will accelerate construction by reducing site congestion and improving productivity.
This approach, chosen by joint venture partners BYLOR, allows for efficient lifting operations with minimal disruption. The M2480D crane, capable of lifting up to 122 tonnes, will remain on site until 2026. |
