The Australia-UK Chamber includes companies and groups that are themselves member organisations. This provides a great opportunity to ‘network the network’ and extend the benefits of the Chamber. We are the most engaged and connected Australian-UK business network.
A strong number of Australian universities are members, including Sydney University, Monash University, RMIT University, the University of Western Australia, and Darwin University, all of which look to support and engage with their alumni here in the UK. The Australia-UK Chamber has been pleased to host a number of events at Australia House on their behalf when Vice-Chancellors and other key university leaders visit, bringing together large numbers of alumni.
In addition, we have a range of other member organisations within the Chamber network, including CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ), the Foundation of Australia and New Zealand Arts (FANZA), Engineers Australia, and our own Australian Business in Europe (ABIE) network.

Vanessa Ganguin Immigration Law | New updates and a reversal on right to work checks for sponsors
Important changes have been made to UK government guidance for employers with sponsor licences and those seeking to apply for one. Updates include: Right to work checks are not required for non-sponsored workers directly engaged (but not employed) by sponsors. Checks remain mandatory for all sponsored workers and unsponsored employees. Sponsor licence applications may be refused or revoked where they appear primarily intended to facilitate entry to the UK. Clarification on evidencing active trading or operations when applying for a sponsor licence.
