A note from Richard, upcoming events, and member news

The Australia-UK Chamber Newsletter

Note from the CEO

The Chamber continues to deliver a wide range of engaging events, from focused roundtable discussions and informative webinars to larger in-person events hosted at Australia House.

Highlights over the last few months include a roundtable with Australia’s Chief Medical Officer, Meet the Members event at the House of Lords, Young Professionals event with the CEO of The Crown Estate, and the Women in Leadership - Social Purpose breakfast panel. It’s been a great start to the year.

Whilst we are now well into a new calendar year, we are about to close out the 2025/26 financial year. As a not-for-profit, independent, member organisation, the Australia-UK Chamber is YOUR organisation, and its success - across networking, event delivery, and financial performance - relies directly on your active support. A healthy and financially sound Chamber benefits the entire Australia-UK business community - a message reinforced by our key speakers at the House of Lords event.

There are four key areas where we value and encourage your engagement:

  1. Member-led topic suggestions for events

  2. Attendance at Chamber events

  3. Referrals to potential new members

  4. Event partnerships and sponsorships

The Chamber team remains enthusiastic about the great momentum and engagement of the members. However, we need your active support to make the organisation financially stronger.

We look forward to partnering with you as we continue to build for the long term.

Regards,

Richard Basil-Jones
