In February, the Australia-UK Chamber of Commerce hosted a memorable ‘Members only’ black-tie dinner for 120 people at the House of Lords. This Meet the Members event reflected what the Chamber does best: bringing people together across business, government and the broader Australia-UK community to connect, build relationships and share ideas. This proved to be a very successful and enjoyable evening and reinforced the value of being a Chamber member. Guests included our new High Commissioner to the UK, The Hon. Jay Weatherill AO, our national and state Trade Commissioners, as well as senior leaders from over 80 different organisations. Our thanks again to Worley ( principal partner) and co-partners NAB and KPMG.

A common theme, best captured by the speech from our Board member David Linke from KPMG, was - “Government policy may establish the direction, but business to business contact, and people contact make these terms real and deliver practical outcomes for mutual benefit and we thank the Chamber for its leadership in this regard.” This was a special evening, the feedback has been so positive, and we look forward to repeating this important networking event again in the next 12 months.

Law Squared marks 10 years - first CEO named, same bold model
